Reproducibility has been verified across various vehicle models with only minor adjustments required. The proposal seeks opinions from member countries regarding the necessity of electromagnetic immunity evaluation methods for BSD systems.

Based on GRVA-25-08, the document addresses blind spot accidents involving right-turning trucks and bicycles. Proposal to amend UN R151 (Blind Spot Information Systems) to account for vehicles of categories X and Y equipped with an Automated Driving System. BSIS is required to work when a driver is in control; vehicles of category Y and vehicles of category X without a manual mode intended to be operated on-board the vehicle are not required to comply. Vehicles of category X with a manual mode operated on-board not using a driver’s seat may be approved using alternative requirements demonstrating equivalent safety. The proposal amends scope, definitions, and approval marking provisions. This proposal amends and supersedes ECE/TRANS/GRSG/2026/10.
