| List of ACPE-equipped vehicles |
| Reference Number: ACPE-GTR-03-03/Rev.1 |
|
No vehicles have received certification under UN R175-00/01. The document lists representative ACPE-equipped vehicle models from various manufacturers and markets, detailing their sensor configurations, target objects, and operation speed ranges. Sensor types include ultrasonic sonar, monocular camera, stereo camera, and milli-wave radar. Target objects are stationary objects and pedestrians. Vehicles exhibit variation in forward and rearward equipment and low-speed braking function inclusion. Performance definitions differ by OEM and are not directly comparable across manufacturers or to UN R175 requirements. |

| Analysis of AEB Fitted Passenger Cars in Fatal Road Crashes in Finland (2018–2023) |
| Reference Number: AEBS2-01-04 |
|
The Finnish Crash Data Institute analyzed fatal road crashes involving AEB-fitted passenger cars from 2018–2023. In 10 cases, AEB systems had missing functionalities: crossing traffic detection failed in 7 crashes, large animal detection in 2, and pedestrian detection in 1. Six crashes occurred with AEB operating outside its Operational Design Domain due to speed limitations or non-standard targets. In 8 crashes, active driver input prevented AEB activation. For not-at-fault parties, AEB systems could not detect oncoming vehicles in 14 crashes. Overall, AEB initiated braking in only 2 of 75 examined crashes, though systems functioned as designed within known constraints. |

| Reference Number: EMC-51-11/Rev.1 |
|
Proposal to insert new paragraph 5.3. into UN R178 (Emergency Lane Keeping Systems). The new paragraph requires that the effectiveness of ELKS shall not be adversely affected by magnetic or electrical fields, demonstrated by fulfilling technical requirements and respecting transitional provisions of the 06 or any subsequent series of amendments to UN R10. This proposal aims to ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility and make the reference future proof for potential ELKS requirements in future series of amendments to UN R10, based on GRVA-24-05/Rev.2. |
