Proposal to:

• Add a new paragraph 3.3.4.4.1. concerning labels for additional approval markings,
• Amend paragraph 4.13.1. point (b) to modify requirements for luminous intensity when elements stop emitting light,
• Amend paragraph 5.3.3.2. to specify luminous intensity requirements for ADB for vehicles of category L₃,
• Amend paragraph 5.3.3.7. to insert a new Part C to Table 13 with type approval photometric requirements for adaptation of the driving beam,
• Amend Notes to Table 13 to address ADB for vehicles of category L₃,
• Amend paragraph 6.2.1.1. to modify deviation requirements for driving-beams,
• Delete paragraph 6.2.1.1.1.2.1.,
• Amend Table 28 row BR and Table 29 row BR to modify luminous intensity values,
• Amend Table 35 concerning Class R driving-beam bend lighting system requirements,
• Replace table note references in Annex 4 paragraph 1.6.2.1.,
• Add a new Figure A13-VII to Annex 13 with a marking example,
• Renumber former Figures A13-VII and A13-VIII as A13-VIII and A13-IX respectively.

Proposal to amend para. 3.3.1.2. to specify that the value for ‘a’ in the approval marking shall be at least 5 mm, and add a new para. 3.3.4.4.1. establishing requirements for labels used for additional approval markings specific to the device, including durability for the useful life of the device, legibility, indelible letters and figures, and durable fixing that cannot be removed without destroying or defacing the labels.

Proposal to amend para. 6.2.2.1.4. to delete “For”, amend para. 6.2.2.1.5. to clarify that requirements apply only to the support for parts made of material with Shore A hardness of less than 50 mounted on rigid support, and insert new para. 6.2.2.1.6. establishing that requirements do not apply to CMS with lower edge mounted not less than 2 m above the ground when vehicle is under load corresponding to its maximum technical permissible mass.

Proposal to amend para. 6.2.2.1.4. to delete “For”, amend para. 6.2.2.1.5. to specify that requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. apply only to the support for parts made of material with Shore A hardness of less than 50 and mounted on rigid support, and insert new para. 6.2.2.1.6. stating requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. do not apply to camera monitor systems if their lower edge is mounted not less than 2 m above ground when vehicle is under maximum technical permissible mass load, based on ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2026/28.

Proposal to:

• Amend para. 6.2.2.1.4. to exempt parts of the camera and the monitor installed outside the vehicle which are made of a material with a Shore A hardness of less than 60 from the relevant provisions,
• Amend para. 6.2.2.1.5. to apply requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. only to the support for parts of the camera and the monitor installed inside the vehicle which are made of a material with a Shore A hardness of less than 50 and which are mounted on a rigid support,
• Insert a new para. 6.2.2.1.6. to provide that the requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. do not apply to CMS if their lower edge is mounted not less than 2 m above the ground when the vehicle is under a load corresponding to its maximum technical permissible mass,
• Amend para. 22.33.5. to provide that Contracting Parties shall continue to accept type approvals issued according to the 04, 05 and 06 series of amendments to this Regulation for vehicles and devices for indirect vision which are not affected by changes introduced by the 07 series of amendments.
