Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) and the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) to effect an extensive set of corrections and clarifications to formulas and references used UN Regulation No. 13, based on document GRRF-74-31.

OICA positions opposed to the Japanese proposal for new regulations to govern lane-keeping assist systems and parking assist system, arguing that such systems are already covered under UN Regulation 79.

At the 74th GRRF session, CLCCR presented document GRRF-74-37 which noted that a design restriction in UN R79 prevents trailers from using energy from a towing vehicle. Following discussion, a number of delegates indicated their support for an amendment to remove this restriction and enable the use of new technologies.
