On behalf of CLCCR, the expert from CLEPA proposed amendments to UN Regulation No. 79 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRRF/2013/25) inserting new requirements for trailers with a steering control system utilising electrical energy from the towing vehicle. The proposal received some comments (GRRF-75-11). The expert from Japan noted the absence of a definition for “IP54”. GRRF agreed to resume consideration of this subject at its next session on the basis of a revised proposal.
