Proposal to: <ul><li>Amend para. 6.2.2.1.4. to exempt parts of the camera and the monitor installed outside the vehicle which are made of a material with a Shore A hardness of less than 60 from the relevant provisions,<li>Amend para. 6.2.2.1.5. to apply requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. only to the support for parts of the camera and the monitor installed inside the vehicle which are made of a material with a Shore A hardness of less than 50 and which are mounted on a rigid support,</li><li>Insert a new para. 6.2.2.1.6. to provide that the requirements of para. 6.2.2.1.1. do not apply to CMS if their lower edge is mounted not less than 2 m above the ground when the vehicle is under a load corresponding to its maximum technical permissible mass,</li><li>Amend para. 22.33.5. to provide that Contracting Parties shall continue to accept type approvals issued according to the 04, 05 and 06 series of amendments to this Regulation for vehicles and devices for indirect vision which are not affected by changes introduced by the 07 series of amendments.</li></ul> |

Proposal to amend para. 4.1. to condition approval on meeting requirements in para. 5., insert new paras. 4.2. to 4.2.4. to establish approval criteria for vehicles up to 12,000 kg maximum mass equipped with deployable occupant restraint systems meeting UN R160 01 or later, requiring equivalence demonstration of EDR triggering performance for vehicles of 8,000–12,000 kg derived from M<sub>1</sub> or N<sub>1</sub> vehicle types through manufacturer determination of restraint deployment thresholds and physical or simulation testing, renumber former paras. 4.2. to 4.6. as paras. 4.3. to 4.7., amend para. 6.2. to specify communication of approval confirmation or refusal to Contracting Parties, and amend Annex 3 heading to reference paras. 4.5. to 4.5.1. |
