Proposal to amend para. 2.9.1. to define “Adjusted ocular reference point” for vehicles of categories M1 and N1 which refers to the adjusted ocular reference point as defined in UN R166, adjusted for back angle according to UN R166 in its original version, Annex 10 paragraph 1. 42. The experts from the Kingdom of the Netherlands introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2026/19 to clarify that the adjustment of the ocular reference point only consists of the adjustment for back angle. GRSG adopted the proposal not amended and requested the secretariat to submit it as draft Supplement 3 to the original version of UN Regulation No. 176 for consideration and vote at the November 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.
