Proposal to amend the Introduction to clarify ALKS activation conditions on separated roads, amend para. 5.1.1. to require the activated system to perform the DDT, manage all situations including failures, be free of unreasonable risks, not cause reasonably foreseeable and preventable collisions, and bring the vehicle to a standstill when involved in a detectable collision, amend para. 10.1.1. on Type Approval Authority revision procedures, amend Annex 4 para. 3.5.4. on manufacturer monitoring of safety-relevant incidents and reporting to the Type Approval Authority, insert new Annex 4 para. 3.5.4.1. requiring the Type Approval Authority to upload remedial action information to the DETA database within 14 days of receipt, and insert new Annex 7 providing guidance on data exchange via DETA.
