Proposal by the Task Force on UN Regulation No. 39 covering mileage values to amend and extend the existing requirements for odometers to include provisions on: (a) accuracy of the on-board odometer mileage values, (b) anti-tampering of the on-board odometer mileage values and (c) accuracy and antitampering of the odometer mileage values displayed to the driver.

Proposal from the task force on UN R46 to address pure Class 1 monitor positioning relative to driver wearing bifocal eyeglasses, requirements for surveillance cameras (including definition of “Surveillance camera-monitor-recording device”), approval marking for devices with more than one field of view, provisions on obstruction of the field of view, provisions for the rounding of the magnification factors, clarification of provisions to avoid conflict with ADR rules, clarification of external surface, radius of curvature requirement on the backside of Class I mirrors, and corrections to the text.

Proposal to clarify the test conditions of rear-view camera and detection system.

Proposal to align the text of UN R105 with the latest version of the Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).
