Proposal from GRSG to update the vehicle-fuel identification symbols in line with ISO 17840-4, Part 4 (Propulsion energy identification) and to extend the scope of the identification requirements to N₂ and N₃ vehicles.

Proposal for GRSG to add provisions for excess flow valves (EFV) which can shut off fuel flow at the time of operation to specific components.

Proposal to update the whole vehicle approval requirements to the latest series of amendments and to add the WLTP emissions cycle (UN R154). The update would also reflect the separation of UN R116 into three regulations respectively covering vehicle locking systems, alarm systems, and immobilizers.
