Revised proposal prepared by the secretariat pursuant to discussion of GRSP/2021/28, proposing to align UN R127 with provisions set out in the revised General Safety Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 that will apply in the European Union in accordance with the proposed transitional provisions. The proposal also covers a specific provision on optional monitoring of headform contact with A-pillars, windscreen header and cowl and proposes inconsequential adaptations and clarifications to the existing requirements.

Correction to the numbering of the explanatory notes to the new definition “specific voltage condition” in paragraph 2.47.
