Proposal to amend para. 4.5.5.(d) to clarify that stop lamps, direction indicator lamps, reversing lamps and side-marker lamps shall not incorporate a manufacturer logo. The amendment addresses an unintended gap in the regulations whereby side-marker lamps could theoretically be approved with a manufacturer logo, whereas it had never been the intention of GRE to allow side-marker lamps with a manufacturer logo. Contracting Parties agreed during the April 2026 session that an amendment to clarify this would be appropriate. Netherlands |
