Revised proposal to support development of the WLTP test procedures.

In 2011, the WLTP-DTP group agreed to pursue an improved definition of vehicle test mass and a step-less approach to the inertia class system. This revised document describes the current view on the combined approach for vehicle test mass, inertia setting, tire and vehicle selection.

This document proposes a draft text for a resolution on “activities other than those related to driving” that the driver of a vehicle equipped with an automated driving system could undertake when the automated driving system is engaged.

Since the 1960’s diesel has been the predominant fuel used for the propulsion of heavy goods vehicles. Fuel-related requirements for dangerous goods (ADR) vehicles have been based upon this prevalence; however, duel fuel vehicles using CNG and LNG have raised issues concerning the use of such fuel systems on ADR vehicles. This paper discusses ADR vehicles and such gaseous fuels.

Presentation to the 95th session of the Working Party on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (WP.15)

Proposal to amend the draft agreement to address situations where a Contracting Party disagrees with an adopted amendment and ceases to apply a given UN Regulation. The proposal seeks to clarify that the Contracting Party would still be obligated to accept type approvals based on the previous versions of the regulation (i.e., approvals based on versions of the regulation that the CP had been accepting before the amendment) for one year following its notification to cease application of the regulation.
