24. The expert from GTB proposed clarifying grouped markings and labels. The proposals also included draft amendments to UN Regulation No. 149 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2026/10). GRE adopted the proposals, as amended by GRE-94-07, and requested the secretariat to submit them for consideration and adoption to the November 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 8 to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 148 and draft Supplement 8 to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 149.

26. The expert of GTB recalled the earlier proposal by China to replace “multiple light sources” by “separate light sources” (GRE-93-16) and reported on the outcome of the GRB internal discussions on this topic, according to which there was no need to change the text (GRE-94-55).

25. The expert from GTB came up with an additional approval concept of supplemental light-signalling devices for multiple lamp systems while keeping all requirements as currently present for Y- or D-lamps (GRE-94-13) and explained its benefits. Following a short exchange of views, GRE agreed to revert to the topic at the next session.
