Pixel faults arise erratically across production and cannot be directly quantified by testing product samples. Moreover, pixel faults are a problem only when they affect visual perceptions of the driver. Therefore, the testing needs to determine the probability for a "disturbing" disruption of the image that could significantly interfere with a driver's perception of the image.
