The 70th GRPE session is scheduled to be held in Geneva, starting on Monday, 12 January 2015, from 2.30 p.m. until Friday, 16 January 2015, at 12.30 p.m., subject to the confirmation by the secretariat (to be confirmed via the eventual publication of document GRPE-70-01). Interpretation would be provided from 13 January to 16 January 2015.

This proposal aligns the transitional provisions of Revision 6 of UN Regulation 49 and thus in document GRPE/2014/3 with the General Guidelines for UN Regulations (WP.29/1044/Rev.1). This change requires changes to Table 1 of Annex 3 to cover diesel and dual-fuel engines bearing the letter B.
The proposal also would allow for methods other than monitoring the reagent tank level or reagent flow in order to monitor reagent consumption in Annex 11.
