30. After an initial discussion of ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/7 and informal documents GRSP-77-30-Rev.1, GRSP-77-39, GRSP-77-46, GRSP-77-49 and GRSP-77-50, interested experts met informally during the week and came back to GRSP on the last day of the meeting with a set of revised proposals. GRSP adopted informal document GRSP-77-39 with a corrigendum to supplement 1 to the 02 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 134. However, after the end of the session, the secretariat, in consultation with the Chairs, decided it was more appropriate to fix this mistake with an erratum, without the need for submission to WP.29 and AC.1, as the original proposal did not contain the mistake. GRSP also adopted informal documents GRSP-77-30-Rev.2 and GRSP-77-46-Rev.1 , (as reproduced in annex VI) and requested the secretariat to submit them as proposals for the 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 134 and Supplement 3 to the 02 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 134, respectively, to the November 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.
31. The expert from France presented informal document GRSP-77-31 to raise the question of whether to implement requirements for a periodic technical inspection of vehicles equipped with hydrogen storage systems in UN Regulation No. 134, similar to those already present for compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in UN Regulation No. 110. The experts from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Germany both spoke in favour of the idea and informed GRSP that the topic had been added to the terms of reference of the task force on UN regulations for hydrogen vehicles (TFH2) (see informal document GRSP-77-49-Rev.1).
