The expert from France presented informal document GRSP-77-31 to raise the question of whether to implement requirements for a periodic technical inspection of vehicles equipped with hydrogen storage systems in UN Regulation No. 134, similar to those already present for compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in UN Regulation No. 110. The experts from the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Germany both spoke in favour of the idea and informed GRSP that the topic had been added to the terms of reference of the task force on UN regulations for hydrogen vehicles (TFH2) (see informal document GRSP-77-49-Rev.1).
