UN R7 has no requirements concerning changes in lamp luminance. Therefore, certain lamps which could not be installed in accordance with UN R48 could nonetheless obtain type approval and be sold in the aftermarket. This proposal would prevent such an occurrence. This document supersedes GRE-68-29.
