GRE-69-37 | Proposal for amendments to Regulation No. 48 Under agenda item 5(f) of the 69th GRE session, the GTB proposal (GRE/2013/5) to cease granting type approvals under UN R5 and R31 was approved. Pursuant to an Italian request, GRE agreed to delete the references to UN R31 in paragraphs 6.1.2. and 6.2.2. of UN R48 and requested Italy to prepare present document specifying the proposed changes.
GRE-69-38 | Collective amendments to Regulations Nos. 53 and 74 Pursuant to item 5(f) of GRE-69, the GTB proposal (GRE/2013/5) to cease issuing type approvals under UN R5 and R31 was approved. This prompted proposals to look for similar references in UN R53, R74 and R86. No references to UN R31 were found, but references to similarly 'frozen' regulations (UN R1, R8, R20, R56, R57, R72, R76 and R82) were found. The present document proposes to delete these obsolete references in UN R53 and R74.
