The proposed amendments are considered to be adopted
and are binding upon all Contracting Parties applying Regulation No. 110 as of 15 July 2013.

IEC response to the GTB proposal to define the conditions under which voltage control gear may be used in conjunction with filament light sources.

Submitted by Germany to correct a mistake in the original document from the GTB that proposes to introduce amendments to improve the accuracy of the test procedures to verify the stability of the photometric performance.

IEC has serious concerns with the proposal to clarify the conditions under which voltage control gear may be used in conjunction with filament light sources because halogen filament light sources should not be operated permanently outside the specifications, at a too low or at too high voltage.
