Proposal prepared by the Task Force on Automated Vehicles Regulatory Screening (TF-AVRS), with the aim to amend and supersede document ECE/TRANS/GRSG/2025/36.

Proposal to amend to meet the visibility requirements of UN R125, there is a notch in the lower edge of the black band of the front window in some vehicles. This is required to satisfy the requirements of UN-R125, but is considered to be meaningless for driving vision and needs to be corrected.

Proposal from the GRSG task force on Automated Vehicles Regulation Screening to enable application of UN R125 to ADS vehicles, including the exemption of vehicles of subcategories X and Y.
