Proposal to introduce provisions concerning trolleybuses in line with the electrical standards in Annex 12 of UN Regulation No. 107.

Document GRSG/2015/9 would amend the provisions of UN R10 on electromagnetic compatibility to include camera-monitor devices newly defined under UN R46. This proposal aims to clarify that the amendment applies only to regulated devices for indirect vision (UN R46) so as not to be confused with other devices for indirect vision already included within the scope of UN R10.

Comments on the proposal to align the requirements of UN Regulation No. 10 with regard to electromagnetic compatibility of trolleybuses with the electrical standards in Annex 12 to UN Regulation No. 107 (document GRE/2014/41).

Proposal to align UN Regulation No. 10 with the proposed amendments to Regulation No. 46 (document GRSG/2015/2) to enable the replacement rear-view mirrors by camera-monitor systems. This proposal is also subject to the consent of the Working Party on Lighting and Light-Signalling (GRE).

Proposal to align UN R10 with the amendment to UN R46 that would enable the type approval of camera-monitor systems in place of rear-view mirrors. The amendment would replace the reference to rear-view mirrors with “devices for indirect vision” including CMS.

Proposal to enable the designation of manufacturer electromagnetic compatibility facilities as approved test laboratories for the purpose of assessing conformity with UN R10.
