Preliminary comments from India on the draft GTR on L-category vehicle crankcase and evaporative emissions (document EPPR-04-06) and the draft durability testing presented in document EPPR-05-08 which may or may not be established through an amendment to GTR No. 2 or as a separate regulation.

The main objective of this proposal is to establish an amendment to GTR No. 2 on the Worldwide harmonized Motorcycle emissions Certification-test procedure (WMTC) to insert Environmental and Propulsion Performance Requirements (EPPR), currently only applicable for two-wheeled motorcycles. Where warranted, other amendments or proposals for new regulations may be developed.
