34. GRE noted the progress of the Informal Working Group on Electromagnetic Compatibility (IWG EMC) (GRE-94-53) and decided to extend its mandate until December 2028. IWG EMC was requested to submit its updated Terms of Reference to the next GRE session.

35. The expert from IWG EMC introduced an amendment proposal that aimed to address vehicles with automated driving systems (ADS) (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2026/16, GRE-94-46). At request of the expert from the Netherlands (Kingdom of), GRE focused its considerations on the ADS steering equipment. Following consideration in detail, GRE adopted the proposal as amended by GRE-94-56-Rev.2 and mandated the secretariat to submit it for consideration and adoption to the June 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 3 to the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10.
