This proposal base on document GRE/2019/20 and is an alternative to document GRE/2019/14.
Currently, UN Regulation No. 48 does not allow the manual switching off all lighting devices under all circumstances. This feature is necessary for armed services and forces responsible for maintaining public order and is requested by them.
