UN R13: Proposal for a new 14 series of amendments

Proposal to update the regulation in line with technical advances and the emergence of a new type of braking system that employs stored electrical energy for both the control transmission and the energy transmission and to clarify the application of the Type II test.
This proposal (WP.29/2024/143), as amended by para. 105, was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-seven Contracting Parties out of the 53 applying UN R13 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
