The representative of the United States of America informed the Committee that, since the previous session of AC.3 in March 2014, there had not been any meeting of the IWG on Quiet Road Transport Vehicles (QRTV). He added that the technical sponsors (EU, Japan and United States of America), in cooperation with the Chair of GRB, were considering a proposal to extend the Terms of Reference to also cover the development of a draft UN Regulation on QRTV under the 1958 Agreement in parallel, with the aim to finalize both draft documents by November 2015.
