58. During the consultations, the experts reviewed a proposal (GRVA-22-40) for virtual testing to be inserted in UN Regulation No. 131 aligned with other documents previously adopted by GRVA. The experts noted the growing importance of virtual testing given the evolution of technologies and regulatory needs and suggested to inform WP.29 and its other subsidiary bodies.

59. GRVA adopted GRVA-22-05 (reproduced in Annex 3) as draft supplement to the 02 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 131 (AEBS for heavy vehicles) and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote, by WP.29 and AC.1, in November 2025.

60. GRVA noted GRVA-22-40 (amendment proposal to UN Regulation No. 130 on lane departure warning) and agreed to resume discussion on this matter at its September 2025 session and requested the secretariat to distribute it with an official symbol at the next session.
