The representative of the European Union informed AC.3 about the ongoing development of On-board diagnostics (OBD) 2 provisions for two- and three-wheeled motor vehicles that were developed by the IWG on EPPR. The draft phase 1 of OBD2 amendment to UN GTR No. 18 had been presented to the GRPE session in May 2019 (GRPE-79-23), taking the needs and considerations of all CPs into account. An official document was expected to be submitted for consideration by GRPE during the first half of 2020.
