The representative of the United States of America, Chair of the IWG on Quiet Road Transport Vehicle GTR (QRTV GTR), reported that no new meetings of the IWG were planned, pending consideration of several petitions to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) on Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. He added that IWG QRTV GTR would then resume its activities within its mandate, which would expire in December 2020.
