UN Regulation No. 48 (Installation of Lighting and Light-Signalling Devices)

GRE will address a proposal that was prepared by the experts from the International Automotive Lighting and Light-Signalling Expert Group (GTB) with the aim to align the requirements in UN Regulation No. 48 with the updated requirements in UN Regulation No. 149.

GRE will consider a proposal by the experts from GTB that aligns the requirements for the passing-beam vertical inclination for off-road vehicles between the 06, 07, 08 series and the 09 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 48.

GRE will consider a proposal by the experts from GTB which aims to avoid exceeding the aggregate maximum intensity of the main-beam headlamps.

GRE is invited to address a revised amendment proposal that was prepared by the Task Force on Autonomous Vehicle Signalling Requirements (TF AVSR).

GRE will be informed about the activities of the Task Force on Lamps Under Parked Conditions (TF LUPC) and will consider its draft Terms of Reference and Rules of Procedure.

At its previous session, GRE agreed to keep on the agenda the topic of work lamps raised by the expert from France.

Similarly, GRE decided to revert to the perceived blueish colour of the white light emitted by front lighting units, as reported by the expert from France.
