Proposal to clarify the test requirements in alignment with the French text of the regulation by amending paragraph 5.10 to read “Tanks shall be installed in such a way as to be protected from the consequences of a collision to the front or the rear of the vehicle. There shall be no protruding parts, sharp edges, etc. near the tank.” The proposal aims to clarify the inspection of potentially protruding parts around the tanks in order to ensure their integrity in the event of a collision.
