The agenda includes discussion of UN GTR 22 covering mutual recognition and conditioning cycles; UN GTR 21 addressing fuel cell electric vehicles and test methods; and UN GTR 25 covering energy throughput, normal usage indices, virtual distance verification, alternative test methods, and battery replacement provisions. UN GTR 25 amendment 2 must be submitted to March 2027 GRPE with a December 2026 deadline.

The French Mobilities Alliance is a federation bringing together entrepreneurs in the autotech and new mobility sectors driving innovation toward a low-carbon, digital, and universally accessible form of mobility. It has more than 100 members organized across 10 working groups covering accessibility, batteries, electrification, elected officials, carsharing, data and AI, free-floating, carpooling, supply chain, and corporate fleets. The Alliance is the 19th branch of Mobilians, a federation which brings together more than 180,000 companies across 25 mobility-related sectors.

The Electric Vehicles and the Environment informal group reported on amendments to UN Global Technical Regulations 21, 22, and 25 governing electrified vehicle power, battery durability for light-duty vehicles, and battery durability for heavy-duty vehicles. Proposed changes include revised test methods, boundary conditions, definitions, and alignment with UN Regulation transposition efforts. Future work includes investigating fuel-cell vehicles, charging power curves, and alternative test methods.
