OICA concern over the provision whereby a Category B1 system can only be reactivated by a deliberate action of the driver after the system has been switched off. This provision could be problematic should lane-keeping systems become mandatory to the extent that it could be interpreted as meaning that the system cannot be “default-on” after such a manual deactivation. |
