8. The expert from Australia, as Chair of Informal Working Group (IWG) regarding the safety of Children Left in Vehicles (CLIV) gave a status report of the activities carried out with regard to Phase 2 of the IWG since the last GRSP (informal document GRSP-77-51), including the regulatory drafting progress made in their 7th session (held virtually) and their 8th session (held in the Republic of Korea). He also gave an outline of the work to be carried out in their 9th, 10th and 11th sessions, to be held before the next GRSP.
