The expert from Germany reiterated ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2024/8, to bring the current text of UN Regulation No. 116 in line with the wording that WP.29 had voted for at its 191st session requiring compliance with the technical requirements of UN Regulation No. 10 in UN Regulation No. 157 (Automated Lane Keeping Systems). He explained that the text of the proposal was confirmed by the Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA). GRSG adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2024/8, not amended and requested the secretariat to submit it as draft Supplement 3 to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 116 for consideration and vote at the March 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1. The expert from France introduced GRSG-128-33, requesting guidance from GRSG concerning the testing procedure on components, assembly and technical unit of immobilizers. GRSG agreed to resume discussion on this topic at its April 2025 session based on feedback from contracting parties to the 1958 Agreement.
