GRBP recalled the adopted guidelines on antitampering provisions for Non-Original Replacement Exhaust Systems (NORESS) and considered a proposal of a special interest group that integrated the guidelines into the legal text of UN Regulation No. 92 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2024/21). In the course of an in-depth discussion, GRBP came to the conclusion that this proposal would require a new series of amendments. GRBP adopted the proposal, as amended by GRBP-80-29-Rev.3, and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote at the March 2025 sessions of WP.29 and the Administrative Committee of the 1958 Agreement (AC.1) as draft 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 92.
