28. The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands introduced working documents ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/28 and GRSP/2025/29 with proposals addressing the issue of atypical windscreen fracture. The experts from Italy and Sweden supported the proposals and indicated that the square brackets could be removed. On a question from the expert from Japan regarding the potential need to create a task force, the expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands suggested that this would be appropriate in two or three years, once enough data had been collected. GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/28 and GRSP/2025/29 (removing the square brackets) and requested the secretariat to submit them as proposals for supplement 4 to the 03 series of amendments and supplement 3 to the 04 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 127 to the June 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.

The expert from Germany introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/40 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/39 (agenda item 24 (h)) with proposals to change the torque values of the upper legform impactor to avoid damaging it during tests. GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/40 and requested the secretariat to submit it as proposals for supplement 2 to the original version, supplement 1 to the 01 series of amendments, supplement 1 to the 02 series of amendments, supplement 4 to the 03 series of amendments and supplement 3 to the 04 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 127 to the June 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1. It also adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2025/39 and requested the secretariat to submit it as a proposal for a corrigendum to UN GTR No. 9 to the June 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.3.
