French intentions for proposal on luminous transmittance of helmet visors

51st GRSP session (21-25 May 2012)

Helmets equipped with unapproved integrated sunscreens that modify luminous transmittance and replacement helmet visors that do not meet the luminous transmittance criteria of UN R22 have appeared on the market. France intends to submit a proposal to define sunscreens and permit tinted visors.
