14. The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands withdrew ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2023/115. GRSP agreed to defer discussion on ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2024/15 at its December 2024 session. GRSP also agreed to send GRSP-75-30 (introduced by GRSP-75-28), tabled by the expert from CLEPA, to the IWG on equitable protection of occupants (EqOP) IWG.

17. The expert from CLEPA presented ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2024/24. Several experts noted that the proposed changes would amount to new requirements and would therefore need to be reflected in a new series of amendments. Furthermore, a number of issues were raised regarding the proposed wording. The expert from CLEPA invited interested experts to work with them in order to bring a revised proposal to this session. The result of this work was later presented in informal document GRSP-76-47-Rev.1. GRSP adopted informal document GRSP-76-47-Rev.1 (as reproduced in annex VI to the session report) and requested the secretariat to submit it as a proposal for a 12 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 17 to the June 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1. GRSP also noted that there were still outstanding issues that should be resolved as soon as possible and included in a future supplement to the series of amendments.
