The expert from the Russian Federation pointed out inconsistent translations into Russian of the term “Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS)” in UN Regulation No. 100 and other UN Regulations (informal document GRSP-76-04). He requested that, in the future, only the Russian term from the Mutual Resolution No. 2 (M.R.2) be used, namely “Перезаряжаемая система хранения электрической энергии (ПСХЭЭ)”. GRSP noted this request and asked the secretariat to inform the United Nations translation services accordingly.
