19. GRSP resumed discussion of GRSP-62-11 on proposed tolerances for the position of the loading device during the test. GRSP noted that the proposal had already been agreed in principle during the sixty-second GRSP session (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 20). The expert from OICA requested further consultation on the proposal and GRSP requested the secretariat to distribute GRSP-62-11 with an official symbol at its May 2019 session.
20. GRSP agreed (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2017/26) on how to secure a cab mounted on a vehicle on the test rig allowing the use of rigid composite blocks and/or metal brackets instead of the wooden blocks (Annex 3, Appendix 1, para. 1), and on the necessity to secure the vehicle with ropes or chains for test C. The expert from Germany introduced GRSP-62-11 on tolerance for the position of the loading device during the test. GRSP agreed in principle with GRSP-62-11, to combine both documents and to resume discussion at the May 2018 session of GRSP to allow for any further provisions. The secretariat was requested to distribute GRSP-62-11 with an official symbol at the next session of GRSP.
24. The expert from Germany introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2019/2, proposing tolerances for the position of the loading device during the test. GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2019/2, not amended. The secretariat was requested the secretariat to submit ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2019/2 as Supplement 5 to the 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 29, for consideration and vote at the November 2019 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.
