Text prepared by the Informal Working Group on Frontal Impact (IWG FI) to introduce necessary modifications to the draft UN Regulation on frontal impact focusing on requirements for restraint systems (GRSP/2014/10).

Further refinements to the proposed new regulation on frontal impact protection in relation to occupant restraint systems (document GRSP/2014/10 amended by doument GRSP/2014/23) prepared by the Informal Group on Frontal Impact. These amendments concern provisions on the position of the front passenger.

Proposal from Japan to outline a 01 series of amendments to the draft new UN Regulation with regard to the Full Width Rigid Barrier test. This proposal would enable Contracting Parties to apply this Regulation with a Thorax Compression Criterion (ThCC) of 34 mm for the Hybrid III 5th female dummy on the passenger seat in the event that both the 00 series draft new regulation and the 01 series amendments are adopted concurrently.
