GRE will be informed about the progress of the Informal Working Group “Simplification of the Lighting and Light-Signalling Regulations” (IWG SLR).
GRE will consider draft amendments to UN Regulations Nos. 148, 149 and 150 prepared by IWG SLR which introduce summary documents that will be placed in the electronic Database for the Exchange of Type Approval documentation (DETA) to support the use of the Unique Identifier (UI).
In this context, GRE is also invited to address a proposal by the International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee (CITA) that ensures the availability of sufficient information on the device for periodic and roadside inspections.
GRE will be informed about the activities of IWG SLR on a new series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 48 that introduces revised requirements for the headlamp levelling.
