This proposal intends to rectify the inconsistency between UN Regulation No. 149, (both original version and 01 series of amendments) and the frozen UN Regulations (namely UN Regulations Nos. 98, 112 and 123) by aligning the measurement points for the mechanical deterioration test. The deletion of measuring point HV, for the passing-beam headlamps, does not change any technical requirement since there are no photometric values specified for point HV in the UN Regulation No. 149, both in the original version and in the 01 series of amendments. |
