Text prepared by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) to introduce the concept of “revision of approvals” in the UN Regulations under the responsibility of the Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG).

Proposal to introduce an “if fitted” clause into the regulation scope in order to clarify that installation of devices to prevent unauthorized vehicle use is not mandatory.
