During its first session, the EMC Task Force considered proposal regarding the application of UN R10 to trolley buses (under UN R107), to UN R46 (indirect vision and camera monitor systems), and to the work on automatic emergency call systems (AECS), as well as a proposal to amend UN R10 itself. Request for task force views with regard to the work on automatic emergency call devices (AECD):

1. Does R10.04 (and any later version) fully cover the EMC aspects for AECD components to be fitted to vehicles and for vehicles with these systems installed/integrated?
2. If not, what amendments can be proposed to Regulation 10?
3. Are specific EMC provisions necessary within the Regulation on AECS?
