Proposal to update a footnote reference on Q dummies in the text of the draft new UN Regulation on Child Restraint Systems. The update reflects the availability of dummy specifications on the Forum website and proposal of a new Mutual Resolution as a repository of test tool specifications.

In response to concerns that the term “Special Resolution” applies only to the 1998 Agreement, this proposal would rename the “Special Resolution No. 2” proposal for a test tool concordance under both the 1958 and 1998 Agreements as a “Mutual Resolution”.

Proposal from the United Kingdom and the United States of America for both the 1958 and 1998 Agreements, in which the drawings and technical specifications of any test device used in UN Regulations and UN GTRs could be incorporated as addenda to a Resolution.
