Proposal to apply the same tell-tale requirements for tyre pressure refill systems (TPRS) and central tyre inflation systems (CTIS) as already in place for tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)

The supplement accounts for vehicles of categories X and Y, and vehicles with manual mode operating above 6 km/h equipped with an Automated Driving System. Scope updated: Regulation does not apply to vehicles of category Y (no occupants inside) or category X without on-board manual mode. New definition of “Safety Concept” added. Vehicles of category X with on-board manual mode not using driver’s seat may fulfil alternative requirements if manufacturer demonstrates equivalent safety level.
